I'll go where You send me...

The other day I heared a story that really made an impression on me. So I'm gonna share it with you. And if you've been reading my blog lately, you'll know what my next step will be :)

Imagine you're standing next to a river. A child falls into the river and starts calling for help. What do you do?

You start praying and ask God to let you know if you should jump in and save this child. God doesn't seem to answer so you turn your back on the child and start praying harder, ignoring the cries for help. Finally God seems to be telling you to jump after the kid and save his life.

However, you didn't get a confirmation on that. So you close your eyes and keep praying. Lord...please confirm... when you finally open your eyes feeling secure that you should be saving this child from drowning, the child has already drowned...

I'm not saying it's bad to pray about things. But sometimes faith means jumping in without hesitation as long as you know its in accordance with Who God Is...
