Storing treasures in Heaven

Hi people,
I know some of you may be wondering how things are with my mom these days. I'm glad to be able to tell you that considering the circumstances she's doing well. I'll give you a very short recap, if you want more specific info please e-mail me.

Friday February 16th she was rushed to the hospital because a bloodclot in her brain was causing paralysation in her left side of her body.
Saturday I spoke to my dad on the phone and he told me she was doing pretty well and the doctors expected her to regain all bodyfunctions within two weeks.
The following Sunday she got to move off the IC unit and to her own room. That day Marcel and I were able to speak to her on the phone. She told us how things were and what had happened from her own experience. It was great to talk to her, and comforting to hear that all the paralysation and stuff had gone as far as she could tell. And she had a great view from her window, she could see both the piramids of Giza and Sakkara :)
Mondaynight she got to go home.

She's been home for a week now and doing alright. She's just exhausted and struggeling with doing nothing. If you know my mother you know it's hard for her not to do anything. But she's lacking the energy to do anything. She's getting physiotherapy and needs to go to the neurologist again next week. The last bloodtests have come back and show that there is something wrong with her blood that probably caused the bloodclot. We'll have to wait and see what the doctor says next week.

So...thats all for now. Thanks to those of you who are praying and thinking of us. We really appreciate it. My mom is one of the biggest treasures in my life and the possibility of losing her really scared me. Please don't take your family for granted...
