Still teaching kindergarten bring me some very humorous situations. The kids are very honest and tell hilarious stories. Lately it's been raining a lot so instead of playing outside for a while I'd dance with the class. That's just so funny!
This month is a very very busy one for all the teachers in Holland, possibly worldwide... We've been spending a lot of time observing and testing the kids individually. That, with 27 more KG-kids around you, is quite a challenge. However, the observing and testing is done now. Reports are waiting to be written, followed by parent-teacher conferences.
By the end of November it should all be done and we'll celebrate that as a team by going out to a High Wine dinner :)
The kids are not bothered by all the administrative work I have to do. Sinterklaas arrived in Holland today. That and the fact that the weather was stormy all week made the kids so loud and twitchy they almost lifted the roof off!
However, it's weekend now and all that we have planned is a family outing with the Van Leeuwen grandparents and a visit with the Van den Berg grandparents. The rest of our freetime will be spend in our pj's watching the speedskating competition and restyling my blog. Ah, it's a wonderful life!
ps. can you believe we've been married for 6 months already?!
